Hey everyone! This is the first topic under the forum subject of Vintage Aviation Literature which is a tremendous passion of mine. I am always wondering what others are reading, what they take away from their previous reads, and what their recommendations are and why. Take a look at the library tab on our main site and tell me if I need to add anything!

I’m currently reading “Upside-Down Pangborn” by Carl M. Cleveland. It’s extremely entertaining and offers a pretty good glimpse into the hectic nature of flying for and maintaining the famous Gates Flying Circus. I’m not finished with it yet but I seriously enjoy the part of the day where I get to pick it up and read a few more chapters. It almost reminds me of Baling Wire, Chewing Gum, and Guts and I bet the two books would supplement each other quite well. Have you read either book? Should I get Baling Wire, Chewing Gum, and Guts? I uh… I think I know the answer to that… Just keep an eye on our library because Upside-Down Pangborn will be added soon and so will its review!

What are you guys reading right now?
